I had just finished typing my blog post for day one and thought it posted when it crashed and now I’m starting all over. Err! Anyway Cheerio from London! Our first day of our European vacation has gone pretty well. We arrived in London this morning with nothing but our backpacks, passports, credit cards and a shell of an itinerary of what we think we are going to do. Surprisingly we have only packed 21lbs of stuff in my backpack and 29lbs of stuff in Tom’s backpack. We normally pack more than that for a 1week vacation! Here I thought not having a hotel booked in London made us care-free and adventurous, but not so much according to UK immigration officials. Now when you enter the UK you must give an address of where you will be staying. Lucky for us, our immigration officer helped us out with an address and let us in. We were able to find a hotel called Hotel Montana (funny I thought we were in London and not Montana) where we will be spending tonight and tomorrow. After catching a quick nap we headed into Central London and took the Big Bus tour and got a pretty good overview. Tomorrow our tickets are still good and we’ll get back on the bus and stop and explore more! So far so good!
