Getting Home

Ok, so I thought the “Final Days in Costa Rica” was going to be my last post, but I didn’t have a chance to get it posted before the adventure continued.  After we got on the plane in Costa Rica we sat for about 3 hours as we waited for maintenance to fix a problem with the plane.  Yup guess what this meant . . . once again we missed our connection in Atlanta.  We ended up spending the night in Atlanta, and after 4 hours sleep we were back at the airport and finally on our way home.  It’s not often that both legs of the vacation get delayed, but it’s been awhile since I’ve had “nightmare” travel, so I guess we were do.  However, as I always say, safety first, so I’m glad maintenance was able to fix the problem and get us home safely.
